SV JOANA & Pippi Longscrapper

The Crew

Maria (Canada) was born on a boat, molding her into what she is today. She started ocean voyaging at 17 by circumnavigating twice on an old traditional Tall ship. She carried through with her studies and became a Professional Mariner.

Her ocean adventures eventually led her to finding her sailboat Joana. Her curiosity and the drive to help the ocean has led her to working on an Oceanographic Research Vessel, widening her eyes to the endless beauty the ocean has to offer above and below the surface.
