The Crew

Rob, Finn, Declan, Ivan (from New Zealand) and Rachel (UK) are a family of five that has been living aboard their Catamaran for over three years. They hope to circumnavigate.

The crew arrived in Australia in November 2019, and shortly after were hit by lightning. Soon after that the world shut down due to COVID-19 and they decided to stay in Western Australia.

Motivation to join the recycling fleet

We love the concept of removal and reuse of plastic; it’s what the world has been searching for and every little bit counts. More importantly it’s a message of hope that we collectively can share with communities.
