Culinary waves for clean oceans. Our Fundraiser at the VISCVLE

You are a big fan of seafood and clean oceans and live close to Lüneburg in Northern Germany? Then we have a great event lined up for you.

Ahoy dear friends of the seven seas with delicate taste buds,

The days here in Northern Germany are starting to get shorter again and the weather is grey and gloomy. Time to brighten up the mood. We would like to invite you to dive into a ocean of aromas.

The team of the VISCVLE kitchen & bar have created a maritime 4-course dinner menu with special treats from regional coasts like wild mussels and oysters. The seafood-specialist Alex from the Matilda Restaurant Fjällbakka in Sweden will create culinary waves of cod, algae and fish roe. Even for desert we keep it oceanic: a little surprise with sea salt awaits you.

The price for this exquisite fundraiser-dinner is 79,90 €. A bit on the salty side? Well, this yummy event reaches way more than just your taste buds: almost half of the fundraiser ticket will be funding our upcoming ocean plastic recycling projects next year. If you decide to join us for this event, then we will tell you live and with many colorful pictures what this will entail in detail.

Are you up to give your taste palate a treat and simultaneously help to reduce plastic waste in our oceans? Make sure to buy your fundraiser ticket at the VISCVLE, call them at 04131 / 2840395 or send an e-mail to post@viscvle.de

One important step in the fight against plastic pollution is to create awareness about the possible solutions. Especially in those areas where people are heavily affected by plastic trash. That`s why we started a crowdfunding in 2021 to outfit eight sailboats with mobile plastic recycling machines. Our Recycling Fleet has now started to demonstrate the potential of small-scale plastic recycling around the globe.

IN MOCEAN just completed our Baltic Sea Tour and we couldn’t be happier with how things went. Berenike Steiger, our co-founder, spent three weeks travelling Germany between Flensburg, Kiel, and Lübeck to raise awareness about the potential of plastic recycling and to talk about the work that IN MOCEAN is doing overseas in remote coastal villages. It was a ton of work to launch the workshops and activities in each port but seeing the public come out, take part, and learn was so rewarding!
